Loving Las Vegas!

My colleague and I are having the best time at the I Teach K! Conference in Las Vegas, NV!  There are so many GREAT presenters here.  I can definitely say that by 4:00, our brains are on overload, but we are learning so much.

*Note that you can visit the sites of the presenters listed by clicking on their names.

Today, I attended a fantastic presentation on teaching writing to kindergartners; not the handwriting kind of writing either- the FUN stuff!  Yes, it is possible to teach those babies to write and Kim Adsit had a wonderful program to share.
If you haven't checked out Kim's products, do so by clicking on her name (the one above will take you to her blog, and the latter will take you to her product site).  She knows what she's talking about!

Techie Lori Elliott shared some great ideas on Morning Meeting, as well as some wonderful technology tools to use in the classroom FOR FREE!

Donna Whyte shared her tips on the First Thirty Days of school.  She has a fun presentation style and I love that New York accent!

Yesterday, we got some great tips on how to challenge gifted learners from Catherine Kuhns.

Drop in on these ladies and see what they have to share.  You'll be glad you did!
